A little help.
Find an earlier check-in
Open My week and use Previous week or the calendar to choose an earlier date. Tap a moment to review, edit, or delete it. Today returns you to the current week.
Choose your appearance
In the app, open Settings and choose System, Light, or Dark. System follows your device’s appearance. Each device remembers its own choice. On this website, use the appearance menu in the footer; this browser remembers your choice.
Reminders are not appearing
Open Reminders and check that reminders, at least one weekday, and at least one daily pause are enabled. Allow notifications for Dat Feel in system settings. Focus and system notification settings can silence or delay alerts. Schedules are configured separately on each device.
Keep a backup
Open Settings using the gear button on iPhone or iPad, or the sidebar or app Settings menu on Mac. Choose Export journal, then save or share the JSON file. It contains your journal notes, so save it somewhere you trust.
Restore a backup
Choose Restore a backup in Settings and select a Dat Feel JSON export. The app validates the file before changing your journal. Confirm the restore to replace entries for matching dates and parts of the day; other check-ins stay. Your Mac, iPhone, and iPad journals do not sync automatically.
An entry will not save
Your typed notes stay in the editor when a save fails. Check your device's available storage, then try again. If the app reports an unreadable journal, it preserves the existing file. Restore a saved backup to recover your journal. Avoid deleting the app until you have a backup you can restore.
Delete your data
Delete a single check-in from its editor, or use Delete all check-ins in Settings. This permanently removes the current device's journal and recovery copies. Existing exported files and device backups are separate; remove those yourself if needed.
